By using the discrete cable, the backplane can support Adaptec RAID 31605 controller card with the HDD FAIL LED.

The 8U SR 850 rack mountable storage enclosure is designed for storage server system and supports up to 50 hot-swappable hard disk drives.
The server model supports Intel® Dual/Quad core Xeon or AMD® Quad Opteron compliant server board 13.0¡¨ x 16.0¡¨ size. The storage model supports an external mount 5 1/4¡¨ RAID .
